Micah Richards ‘walks off set’ during live CBS Sports interview segment as panel left stunned

In the course of an interview with a player that took place following Wednesday’s Champions League matches, Micah Richards was said to have “walked off set.”

Richards, who is 36 years old, was a member of the live broadcasting crew for CBS, which also included Thierry Henry, Jamie Carragher, and host Kate Scott, all of whom were previously former Premier League stalwarts.

After the match, the right-back who had previously played for Manchester City and Aston Villa had a conversation with Marcus Thuram of Inter Milan. This conversation took place after the Italian champions advanced to the semi-finals of Europe’s top club championship with a 2-2 draw against Bayern Munich at the San Siro. The Italian champions won the match 4-3 on aggregate.

This is something that I was merely curious about, Marcus: why do you refer to Thierry Henry as your uncle? Richards enquired of Thuram before to his appearance on CBS.

“Every time I come here,” the forward for Inter laughed. “I say it every time.”

Because he is the brother of my father, Lilian Thuram, he is my uncle. You would say that he is my uncle because of this.

This evening, you, Thierry, are wearing a suit that is just fantastic.

Why don’t we talk about Micah and I? Carragher quipped in jest.

“Both yeah, Micah a bit tight,” Thuram remarked, much to the delight of the panel participants, who all erupted into laughter at the same time.

For some reason, Micah, it’s always you… In addition, the France international expressed their regret.

Thuram, who is 27 years old, has been a star for Simone Inzaghi’s team this season. He has posted 17 goals and nine assists in 44 games, which has contributed to the team’s success in achieving the top spot in Serie A.

There is a possibility that Inter may win their fourth European Cup or Champions League this season. They have previously won the tournament in 2009/2010, 1964/65, and 1963/64. However, they will be competing against a great Barcelona team in the last four.

But that’s not all; Inter still has a chance to win the triple, which consists of the Serie A, the Champions League, and the Coppa Italia.

A prior explanation that Inzaghi, who is 49 years old, provided was that his team have the “DNA to fight in all competitions” back in March.

In the aftermath of Wednesday’s game, he praised the mindset of his team.

“It’s a wonderful evening, experienced at our stadium, in front of our fans, against a very strong team,” Inzaghi stated. “It makes for a very memorable evening.”

“It was necessary for us to compete in two championship matches, giving it our all. This is a triumph that should be celebrated by the entire Inter family since the guys performed really well.

“As we move forward in this lengthy season that is causing us to experience a wide range of feelings,”

In addition, he stated that the players should be credited since they put in a lot of effort and sacrifice themselves collectively.

“It’s been four years since we both started dating.

We understood that we had a good team when we first started, but we also recognised that there were certain aspects that needed to be fixed.

We have been successful in acquiring significant awards. The work that I and the crew have put in has been rewarded with a tremendous sense of pleasure.
