Marcus Rashford is ‘already eyeing transfer to another club’ just weeks after Aston Villa move

With only a few weeks having passed since his move from Manchester United to Aston Villa, Marcus Rashford is reportedly “already eyeing a transfer to ANOTHER club.”

In the month of January, during the transfer window, Rashford signed a loan agreement with Villa that will last until the end of the season.

As part of the agreement, Villa has the opportunity to acquire him on a permanent transfer for a fee of forty million pounds.

That being said, it would appear that Rashford has his sights set on making another move this summer.

The Sun reports that Rashford has not given up hope on his ‘dream’ transfer to Barcelona, which was a possibility prior to his move to Villa. Barcelona was linked with Rashford on multiple occasions.

The La Liga giants, on the other hand, were not successful in their efforts to negotiate a deal. The sporting director of the club, Deco, stated that they were not “desperate” to sign him.

“It’s true there was talk of Rashford – but we weren’t desperately looking for a player either,” he explained to reporters.

However, the loanee from Manchester United is still holding out hope that he will be able to make the move to Camp Nou this summer.

“Marcus is confident that Barcelona will revive their interest in him if he rediscovers his form at Villa Park and starts bagging goals,” a source said. “Especially considering that a transfer price has been established.”

The fact that it is a significant incentive for him is excellent news for Villa.

“Now he just needs to get playing and start scoring.”

Rashford made his debut for Villa by participating in his new team’s FA Cup victory over Tottenham the previous weekend. On Saturday, he made a 45-minute appearance against Ipswich Town, and fans believe that he has “proved Ruben Amorim wrong.”

The star forward looked electric as he created his team’s equaliser after his free kick crashed off the woodwork before Ollie Watkins tapped it home from close range. This was similar to how he looked when he provided the equaliser against Spurs.

After the match against Ipswich, which ended in a 1-1 draw, Unai Emery extended his praise to the 27-year-old player and asserted that “he is getting better.”

Emery stated, “He [Rashford] is making progress in his recovery.” Additionally, he was experiencing a sense of ease. Today, he played for forty-five minutes, and he was of great assistance to us. In the future, they [Rashford and Marco Asensio] will have access to a greater number of opportunities.
