Marcus Rashford might be included in a Manchester United-Barcelona exchange next summer.
A spectacular trade deal between Manchester United and Barcelona appears to have emerged, and Marcus Rashford has the key to making it happen.
Rashford moved to Barcelona from Manchester United on a season-long loan during the summer transfer window.
The loan agreement provides the option to make the shift permanent for around £26 million.
As things stand, Barcelona are willing to take up the permanent option on Rashford’s loan, albeit the amount is still being debated due to the club’s financial condition.
He pleased his new team by scoring his first goals in the Champions League against Newcastle United, followed by his first La Liga goal in Sunday’s 4-1 defeat to Sevilla.
When the summer transfer market reopens, Barcelona will look to sign Rashford from Manchester United.

Given the Red Devils’ interest in the custodian, they may include Marc-Andre ter Stegen in negotiations.
Ruben Amorim is determined to find a new custodian, despite signing Senne Lammens from Royal Antwerp.
Lammens, who cost £18.1 million, made his debut in a 2-0 win over Sunderland last weekend.
As a result, Manchester United released Andre Onana and are still looking for a replacement custodian, with Ter Stegen on their radar, according to Spanish source SPORT.
If Barcelona signs Rashford, Ter Stegen may move the opposite way.

Ter Stegen, 33, has made 422 appearances for Barcelona in all competitions, although he has been replaced as the club’s No.1 due to the purchase of Joan Garcia and the German’s back issue, which necessitated surgery.
Needless to say, he has yet to participate this season, having only played nine games last year.
Ter Stegen, who has 44 international caps, has won six La Liga crowns and the Champions League with Barcelona.
Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur are also interested in signing the veteran stopper, so Manchester United is not the only Premier League team keeping an eye on him.
