In the days leading up to their Europa League round of 16 first leg match against Real Sociedad, Manchester United has been dealt a double injury blow.
After being eliminated from the FA Cup following a penalty shootout against Fulham on Sunday, Manchester United will be back in action on Thursday when they play La Real at San Sebastian in the first leg of their match.
On the other hand, it has come to light that the Red Devils will be missing two key players for the match.
On Wednesday, Manchester United held a training session at Carrington. However, neither Harry Maguire nor Manuel Ugarte participated in the session. Mark Critchley of The Athletic reported that the two players are experiencing “minor issues” as a result of the Fulham match.
Nevertheless, there is a welcome injury boost for Ruben Amorim, as young midfielder Toby Collyer has returned to training after being absent for a prolonged period of time.
