Man Utd star spotted wearing new brand of boots despite Nike contract amid poor season

Alejandro Garnacho, a key player for Manchester United, was seen wearing a different brand of footwear prior to his team’s 4-1 loss against Newcastle, despite the fact that he is under contract with Nike.

After a difficult afternoon for Ruben Amorim’s team, Garnacho scored his fifth goal of the season in the Premier League at St. James’ Park. The match was otherwise difficult for the team.

The Argentine has had a difficult time maintaining consistency throughout this season, which has been accompanied by criticism of his final product. However, he has now contributed four goals in his last eight games, and he will be hoping that he has turned a corner.

During the 2021/22 season, Garnacho was given the opportunity to play for United’s first team under the direction of Erik ten Hag. As a result of his success, he was awarded a lucrative contract with Nike towards the end of that season.

After posting a comment on Instagram stating that Nike was “the best brand in the world,” the winger has been wearing Nike footwear ever since he made the statement.

That is, until Sunday, when Footy Headlines discovered that Garnacho was warming up while wearing Skechers boots instead of his usual footwear.

However, it seemed as though he had returned to his red Nike boots for the match itself. As a result, the twenty-year-old player did not reveal much information about the type of footwear he will be wearing beginning with the following season.

Before Harry Kane signed a lifetime agreement to become Skechers’ new worldwide ambassador in the summer of 2023, the company was not especially well-known in the world of football. This occurred just before Kane left Tottenham Hotspur for Bayern Munich.

Since then, the American company has introduced a limited-edition customised Kane boot. This boot is a part of a collection that also includes other items of clothing, such as a track top, shorts, and an icon graphic t-shirt.

According to Footy Headlines, Garnacho was spotted wearing boots from Skechers’ ‘Razor’ collection, and it is anticipated that he will become a brand spokesperson for the company.

According to reports, Nike is not expected to renew their deal with the Argentine footballer, who will become the second high-profile player to wear ‘Razor’ footwear, following in the footsteps of Isco, a former star player for Real Madrid.
