Al Nassr has been connected with a transfer for a Manchester United player.
A Manchester United player is reportedly close to joining with Al Nassr and might play with Cristiano Ronaldo.
After a dismal season, United plan to be aggressive in the summer transfer window.
So far, the Red Devils have acquired Matheus Cunha from Wolverhampton Wanderers and are also looking to capture Brentford striker Bryan Mbeumo.
In terms of outgoings, Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Antony and Alejandro Garnacho have all been linked with leaving Old Trafford.
Brazilian midfielder Casemiro is also rumoured to be on his way out.
According to Sport Jazirah via Utd Report, “The #AlNassr club is close to signing the Brazilian player Casemiro, the Manchester United midfielder, during the upcoming summer transfer period, and sources indicate that negotiations are at an advanced stage.”
Casemiro joined Manchester United from Real Madrid in the summer of 2022 for a rumoured fee of £60 million.
Since then, the 33-year-old has played 125 games for the Red Devils, scoring 17 goals.
However, Casemiro’s performances in recent seasons have been heavily scrutinised, and it has been speculated that United is willing to let him go.
If Casemiro decides to leave United for Al Nassr, he might rejoin with old teammate Ronaldo.
The Portuguese legend’s contract expires at the end of the month, although it has been reported that he will continue at the club.
Ronaldo responded, “What about the future?” Nothing will change. Al Nasser? Yes.”
Al Nassr’s sporting director, Fernando Hierro, stated in May that Ronaldo’s contract with the club expires on June 30. We will seek to renew his contract so he can stay with us, and several clubs are interested in signing him.
“We are discussing with Cristiano Ronaldo to renew his contract. “God willing, we’ll find a solution.”
