Man Utd seal “final agreement” worth £50m plus objectives for signing – Ex Spurs scout

Manchester United is ready to make a better offer after their original attempt to buy Jarrad Branthwaite from Everton was unsuccessful.

Bryan King, a former scout for both Everton and Spurs, predicts that the Red Devils and the Toffees would finally come to a deal worth more than £50 million to finalise the transfer.

The former shot stopper for Millwall said to Goodison News:

“I don’t believe Everton made a mistake in turning down the deal. I believe Manchester United made a sly bid.

The final arrangement will, in my opinion, be for £50 million plus add-ons. How many appearances he puts in for the team, if he becomes a regular international, etc.”

Everton’s obvious financial issues from the previous season resulted in a deduction of points, and they undoubtedly do not want any further worries into the upcoming campaign.

The Merseysiders must offload players in order to improve the books by the end of the current month.

Man Utd, on the other side, let up no fewer than 58 goals in the Premier League and finished with a negative goal differential the previous season.

Ten Hag is in serious need of defensive reinforcement, and the 21-year-old star is capable of handling the dilemma at the back.

Will Branthwaite be able to join Manchester United in a deal that surpasses £50 million? Time will tell.
