Man United ready to make ‘first offer’ for Barcelona star as Laporta gives asking price for the striker

Man United is prepared to submit a “first offer” for the Barcelona star, and Laporta has stated the striker’s asking price.
According to reports, Man Utd’s initial bid for Barcelona attacker Vitor Roque was rejected by the Catalan powerhouse.

After joining Barcelona during the summer transfer window of 2023 from Brazilian team Athletico Paranaense, Roque’s season has been frustrating. He has only made two starts for Barcelona this season across all competitions.

If he stays with Barcelona, which appointed Hansi Flick as their new manager after Xavi left the team at the end of the season, he might be given additional opportunities the next season.

Roque’s agent, Andre Cury, stated in May that Roque deserved more playing time at Camp Nou. His lack of appearances during the previous season sparked reports that linked him to Manchester United.

“I believe Vitor Roque should be given more minutes,” Cury remarked.

Nobody can comprehend their refusal to give it to him. I don’t understand why Xavi has never communicated with the player.

“[Roque] needs to put in a lot more effort and wait for the right opportunities, but I think there were a lot of games already where those minutes could have been awarded, so we wouldn’t be discussing this today.”

He is quite physically and psychologically powerful, and he is eager to demonstrate it because there is a lot of foolishness being discussed in the press and at the club.

“Wrong figures making untrue statements. None of this is helpful. Observe what transpired with Vinicius [Junior] at Real Madrid; it required him to play for two seasons. In just two months, a disaster has been made here in Barcelona. Individuals desire to murder, not to aid.

In order to avoid prior blunders in the recruitment process, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, co-owner of Man Utd, has made it clear that he wants the Red Devils to bring in younger players who are not yet the final product.

Roque, 19, is a good fit for Manchester United, and according to sources from Spain, the Red Devils have already made their “first offer” for the youthful Brazilian.

Man Utd “has not lost the interest” in Roque and has placed a bid of €35 million, according to reports. Man Utd was interested in signing the attacker prior to his transfer to Barcelona.

Flick has instructed the La Liga team to “study” any loan offers they receive for the attacker, but Barcelona president Joan Laporta has turned down the offer because he wants to get back the €60 million they paid for the teenager.
