Man City ready to use Jack Grealish in outrageous swap deal for Premier League star

There have been rumours of Jack Grealish leaving Manchester City.

According to reports, Manchester City is prepared to use Jack Grealish as a makeweight in an incredible trade for a Premier League player.

Following a poor 24/25 season, City has been putting in endless effort to bolster Pep Guardiola’s team.

Tijjani Reijnders, Rayan Ait-Nouri, Rayan Cherki, James Trafford, Sverre Nypan, and Marcus Bettinelli are among the players City has already signed this summer.

In the meantime, players like Maximo Perrone, Yan Couto, Kyle Walker, and Kevin De Bruyne have all left Etihad Stadium.

Grealish, a star for City, is still being linked to leaving the team as the new season draws near.

The 29-year-old has recently been connected to Everton, who are trying to sign City to a loan agreement.

Grealish may be used as leverage by City in their attempt to recruit Lucas Paqueta, a star for West Ham United, according to recent reports.

Jorge Nicola, a Brazilian journalist, told Sport Witness that City is “determined to sign the West Ham midfielder.”

Instead of paying West Ham’s asking price of £50 million, it has been stated that they are talking about ‘a fresh formula’ to close a deal.

According to Nicola, City might persuade the Hammers to sell by offering Grealish and a reduced sum.

The 27-year-old Paqueta was initially connected to a City transfer in the summer of 2023.

However, because the Brazilian is being investigated for possible betting violations, the transaction fell through.

Paqueta allegedly got booked “for the improper purpose of affecting the betting market” and was charged for it, according to the BBC.

In addition to 2023 games against Aston Villa on March 12, Leeds United on May 21, and Bournemouth on August 12, he was charged with four offences related to a Premier League game between West Ham and Leicester City on November 12, 2022.

Following a violation of “FA Rule F3 in respect of alleged failures to comply pursuant to FA Rule F2,” which deals with giving information and records, Paqueta was further charged with two counts of “failing to cooperate with the investigation.”

By providing Grealish and a lower price, City might convince the Hammers to sell, according to Nicola.
