Charges against Man City 115: Keith Wyness releases a “damaging” new update
Former Everton manager Keith Wyness has stated that Man City’s legal battle with the Premier League over 115 charges may last until 2026.
The 66-year-old, who managed a football consultancy advising elite teams after serving as CEO at Goodison Park from 2004 to 2009, stated a protracted dispute would “affect the Premier League brand considerably” in an interview with Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast.
The English Premier League charged Man City with 115 charges in February 2023, and their case is scheduled for hearing in November of this year.
The majority of the accusations are related to a purported inaccuracy in the financial information provided between 2009–10 and 2017–18.
A two-week hearing last month marked the beginning of City’s legal appeal against the Premier League on its Associated Party Transaction (APT) regulations.
The Man City match will “affect Premier League brand,” and a resolution is not anticipated until 2026, according to Wyness, who also suggested the English champions’ match might last “an additional two seasons.”

Mark declared: “I am one of the founding members of British Triathlon, having joined among the first fifty members in 1984. Since then, I have organised triathlons, some of which are still going strong today. The founding of the Leighton Buzzard Triathlon Club engaged me as well.
“I’ve coordinated and volunteered at over 40 triathlon events. Currently, I work as a full-time triathlon swim, bike, and run performance coach, with a focus on coaching open water swimming.
Throughout his triathlon career, Mark has shared numerous tales of helping out fellow competitors. He has stopped to assist swimmers in need, fixed a fellow competitor’s broken bike chain and given a fellow ironman his spare Co2 cartridge after the competitor had a second flat tyre and was attempting to run his bike to the finish line.
In addition, he has stopped during a triathlon to assist a racer who had wrecked on his bike and given first aid while marshalling.
The Complete Book of Triathlon Training is written by him, and you can learn more about his teaching via
