Liverpool ‘told’ Trent Alexander-Arnold could make shock U-turn on one condition

According to the information that has been provided to Liverpool, there is a possibility that Trent Alexander-Arnold will continue to play for Anfield.

According to the current state of affairs, Alexander-Arnold is scheduled to leave Liverpool for free this summer after the expiration of his contract with the Premier League club.

Several news outlets have reported that the 26-year-old player is getting closer and closer to completing a transfer to Real Madrid, the Spanish La Liga giants. The player has been widely linked with a move to Real Madrid.

On the other hand, former Liverpool defender Stephen Warnock stated on BBC’s Football Focus that Alexander-Arnold could still make a stunning U-turn, but there is one condition that must be met.

Trent Alexander-Arnold might choose to remain with Liverpool rather than move to Real Madrid.
The following is a quote from Warnock that was published in The Mirror: “I still think there’s an opportunity where he could stay.” I believe that there is still that aspect in which he is almost going to say, “If you want me, you are going to have to pay for me.”

Because Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah are currently earning salaries that are out of this world, it is important to take note of this. Due to the fact that Trent is a local lad, he will not be receiving the same amount of money that they are, and he will be thinking, “Pay me what they are getting paid.”

He continued by saying, “And it might be a case of just closing that gap, and (they are) able to make that happen.” On the other hand, the fact that he might leave on a free transfer is something that Liverpool fans are becoming increasingly irritated about. Fans are getting very frustrated about this.

“This is a player that you got on a free transfer (from the club’s academy), who you haven’t paid a single penny for, and who has provided you with eight incredible years of service at the club.

According to a statement made by Sky Sports journalist Melissa Reddy earlier in the week, Liverpool and Real have’shown surprise’ at the stories that have emerged this week. This is despite the fact that there have been no significant developments in the saga since January.

According to what Reddy has written, “no deal has been signed, nor has a conclusion been communicated to either club.”

The return of Liverpool to Premier League action will take place on Wednesday night at Anfield, where they will face off against their fierce rivals Everton.
