Liverpool target THREE Premier League strikers as Sky reveal they’ve done ‘due diligence’ on trio ahead of summer

‘Due diligence’ has reportedly been performed by Liverpool on three Premier League attackers in advance of the summer transfer window.

The previous week was a week that Arne Slot and Liverpool will never forget because two of their hopes of winning a trophy were dashed.

A dismal performance by the Reds in the Carabao Cup final, which Newcastle United won 2-1, followed by the Reds’ elimination from the Champions League by Paris Saint-Germain. The Reds were eliminated from the competition.

Given that there are only nine matches left to play in the Premier League, Liverpool will now be responsible for ensuring that they do not let their 12-point lead at the top of the table slip away.

Taking into consideration the upcoming summer, it has been suggested that Liverpool might make some changes to their attacking options.

A number of players, including Diogo Jota, Federico Chiesa, Luis Diaz, and Darwin Nunez, could be released from their contracts, as reported by Sky Sports.

Furthermore, the future of Mohamed Salah has not yet been decided upon. The 32-year-old player is currently scheduled to leave Anfield for free when his contract expires at the end of the 24/25 season. Therefore, the future of Mohamed Salah is still unknown.

On the other hand, it has been asserted that Liverpool is conducting thorough research on players such as Joao Pedro, Bryan Mbeumo, and Alexander Isak.

The article included the following: “Were the Premier League’s top scorer (Salah) to also leave, then that would leave a sizeable rebuilding job in attack for (Richard) Hughes (LFC Sporting Director) to undertake, with the Reds reportedly doing due diligence on Newcastle’s Alexander Isak, Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo and Brighton’s Joao Pedro.”

Reds manager Slot made the following statement in response to his team’s recent setbacks: “Probably if you can beat us in that style of play, you are probably the best in Europe at the moment.” In the next two or three months, they are still required to demonstrate whether or not they are still capable of doing this. Nevertheless, I would like to make it abundantly clear that the week got off to a fantastic start with us claiming victory over Southampton.

“Because of this, we were able to significantly increase our lead in the Premier League to twelve points with nine games remaining. You are aware that the competition you face in tournaments will become more formidable as you progress further in the competition. It is possible for even Liverpool to lose football games; this is something that can occur.
