Liverpool receive shock Alexander Isak bombshell after record-breaking Newcastle report drops that changes everything

A significant report has surfaced that may have an impact on Liverpool’s efforts to sign Alexander Isak.

Alexander Isak has Liverpool on high alert after a shocking Newcastle United transfer rumor surfaced.

Both Newcastle and Liverpool have added players this summer, and both teams plan to add more before the new campaign begins.

Jeremie Frimpong also moved to Anfield, and the Reds broke their club record by acquiring Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen. The Premier League champions also signed Milos Kerkez.

In the meantime, the Magpies have acquired Antonio Cordero, a young player from Spain, and are nearing a £55 million deal to acquire Anthony Elanga from Nottingham Forest.

Isak has been the focus of heated transfer rumors even though Eddie Howe’s club has secured a Champions League spot.

Liverpool has been given the go-ahead to finalize a blockbuster transfer and is reportedly considering a move for Isak.

Hugo Ekitike’s name is still being connected to a number of teams, including Newcastle, so Isak isn’t the only superstar forward controlling the transfer rumour mills.

Three clubs ‘with the finances to match their objectives’ are showing interest in the 23-year-old, according to French publication RMC Sports.

The pursuing group, which also comprises Al Qadsiah and Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia, has gotten in touch with the player’s entourage and includes Newcastle.

But according to the article, Ekitike would prefer to remain in Europe for the time being.

His estimated value of €100 million (£86 million) would break Newcastle’s club record transfer fee.

Fabrizio Romano stated in a different source that Newcastle is interested in Ekitike.

Last season, Ekitike, who was a member of Paris Saint-Germain’s roster, scored 22 goals in 48 games for Eintracht Frankfurt in all competitions.

Before making his debut in Reims’ main team, the tall French forward attended their junior system.

He later signed with Frankfurt, who exercised the buyout clause in his PSG loan agreement.

The Bundesliga team paid €16.5 million (£14.2 million) to sign him to a long-term contract.
