Liverpool had bizarre hotel demands ‘leaked’ including specific requests for several senior players

The odd hotel requests that Liverpool has made have supposedly been exposed via a document that was leaked.

Football players are among the highest-paid athletes in the world, which means that they frequently travel in luxury. This is something that we are all aware of.

During the 16/17 season, Liverpool, a major player in the Premier League, travelled to Huddersfield to participate in a pre-season friendly match at the John Smith Park Stadium.

With goals from Marko Grujic and Alberto Moreno, the Reds were able to beat their opponents by a score of 2-0. At the time, Jurgen Klopp was the manager of the team.

A paper that revealed Liverpool’s hotel requests was made public by The Daily Star before to the match when it was played.

‘LIVERPOOL FC – Domestic Hotel Requirements Seasons 2016-2017’ was the title of the paper, which included all of the particular requirements that were made for a number of players and the coaching staff.

It was proposed that Jordan Henderson, who was serving as captain at the time, should be in the same room as Adam Lallana, who is also an Englishman.

While all is going on, it is imperative that Philippe Coutinho, a Brazilian superstar, has a fan installed in his room.

Additionally, it was asked that smoking rooms be assigned to Klopp and Peter Krawietz, who was working as an assistant to Klopp.

In addition, the rooms of the coaching staff must be located away from the players yet in close proximity to one another.

Liverpool insisted that all of the players be located on the same floor and in the same general vicinity to one another.

Double beds, wireless internet access, and, of course, a room key were allotted to each and every player. There was pay television in every room, but on the hotel line, calls coming in and going out were not allowed.

Additionally, there were particular requirements made with regard to the cuisine that was provided in each room.

As an illustration, it was brought to everyone’s attention that each room must have two bottles of water that are one litre in capacity, and that the minibar must only include fruit juice and water; alcoholic beverages and snacks are not authorised.

When the players arrived, Liverpool also insisted that porters assist them with their baggage and offered to provide them with luggage trollies.

It was also instructed to the players that they should only wear New Balance apparel and accessories, with the exception of footwear. During that time period, New Balance was the official provider of Liverpool’s uniforms.

Because they were going to be travelling to the United States for a pre-season tour, it was also important for all of the players to have their passports with them.

Given that Arne Slot is now in control, it is quite likely that the Reds will have a list of hotel demands that has been updated.
