Liverpool fans spot what Federico Chiesa did during celebration against Bournemouth and it’s a major hint about his future

Liverpool defeated Bournemouth 4–2, and Federico Chiesa scored his first Premier League goal after coming off the bench.

Following his first Premier League goal against Bournemouth, Federico Chiesa gave a clue regarding his future, which Liverpool supporters took notice of.

After making just six Premier League appearances during Arne Slot’s debut season, Chiesa appeared surplus to requirements as Liverpool won their 20th championship.

However, he was brought on as a substitute in the season’s first match against Bournemouth at Anfield, taking Florian Wirtz’s place after Antoine Semenyo’s brace tied the score after goals from Cody Gakpo and Hugo Ekitike.

And the Italian had a tremendous impact, sending chaos to Anfield with a beautiful volley that put Liverpool ahead 3-2.

After scoring in front of the Kop, the former Juventus player did a knee-slide and wheeled away in celebration as teammates surrounded him.

Prior to doing so, though, the Italy international gestured toward the Liverpool emblem, perhaps signaling that Chiesa would not be leaving.

One fan’s response to X was: “Knee slip, tapped the badge. Federico Cheisa, oh Federico You will never abandon us, and you are very unique and important to me.”

“Chiesa scores and sends a message with that badge point, he’s not here to play around,” someone other noted.

A third person commented: “Chiesa points to the badge after grabbing it. I adore this. Play bin and keep the person!”

Another person wrote: “First ever Premier League goal and he’s already kissing the badge, pointing to it like he’s been Liverpool forever.”

Liverpool’s performance Federico Chiesa, Slot’s first acquisition for Liverpool, was rumored to be looking to depart and was connected to an early return to Italy with Napoli and Inter Milan.

But according to an update from La Gazzetta dello Sport, Liverpool had changed their mind about Chiesa, and Slot had spoken with him to clarify the club’s position.

After losing the late Diogo Jota in a terrible automobile accident alongside his brother Andre Silva and selling Luis Diaz and Darwin Nunez, Liverpool is thought to feel the need for Chiesa, even though they have added Ekitike to their ranks for an additional £79 million.

Liverpool’s next match is at Newcastle, who turned down a Reds bid from uneasy striker Alexander Isak in what has been the summer’s drama.
