Liverpool Fans Call for Serious Talk on Struggling Star After Burnley Clash

Burnley was being played against by Liverpool.

After witnessing the Reds’ game against Burnley, Liverpool supporters have started responding on social media.

After victories over Bournemouth, Newcastle United, and Arsenal, Liverpool is still the only side with a perfect record going into the most recent Premier League weekend.

However, after Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur won, Arne Slot’s team fell down the standings before kickoff.

Liverpool was unable to score and had to rely on long-range attempts due to Burnley’s obstinate defense.

After Hannibal handled the ball, Mohamed Salah converted a penalty deep into extra time, leaving Scott Parker’s team devastated.

The Reds returned to the top of the Premier League with their late winner, continuing their 100% record.

Even though he scored the game-winning goal, Salah’s performance left the supporters disappointed because he did not contribute to the Reds’ success prior to his goal.

A supporter commented: “This is definitely the worst I’ve seen Salah at the start of a season.”

“We’re actually playing a man down with Salah here,” someone else tweeted.

“Salah is having yet another awful game,” a third fan commented. Isak is urgently needed.

Another person commented: “Salah is definitely not his typical self. I need a goal soon.

“This may be the worst individual performance of all time,” said a fifth commenter.

One more admirer commented: “This Salah stinker mannnn.”

Former England and Everton player Leon Osman stated on BBC Radio 5 Live: “When people see the scoreline, it will likely appear simple. Liverpool didn’t move the ball fast enough, despite having decent possession. Burnley’s drive and determination were unrelenting.

“Premier League winners devise a strategy to win matches.” Even though the best players may not feel involved, Mo Salah is the player who will make the difference today. I’m sorry for Burnley.

When Liverpool plays Atletico Madrid at Anfield on Wednesday night to begin their Champions League campaign, they will be back in action.
