Two of the world’s most powerful clubs are preparing to clash during the transfer window.
Liverpool, Manchester United, and Tottenham Hotspur are prepared to battle in the transfer market for one of the Premier League’s finest players.
With just over two weeks until the transfer window closes on September 1, some Premier League clubs are still attempting to clinch deals for new arrivals.
Most notably, Liverpool are aiming to complete a late deal for top target Alexander Isak, while Tottenham are looking to sign Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze, despite the midfielder first being linked with London rivals Arsenal.
Meanwhile, Manchester United are evaluating their next move after potentially missing out on Brighton’s Carlos Baleba, despite being willing to pay up to £100 million for the Cameroonian international.
However, it appears that United has found their next target, but they will not be alone in their pursuit of the Premier League star, as Liverpool and Spurs are poised to compete for his services.
According to the Daily Mail, all three Premier League clubs have selected Brentford captain Nathan Collins as their next transfer target.
A move for Collins could make sense for Liverpool, who are looking to strengthen their centre-back options amid speculations that star defender Ibrahima Konate would depart this summer or next.
Young defender Giovanni Leoni joined the Reds from Serie A club Parma earlier this week for a reputed £26 million, while Liverpool is still negotiating a deal for Palace centre back Marc Guehi.
United are also looking to add another defender to their roster, having previously raided the Bees for star winger Bryan Mbeumo.
However, any more activity at Old Trafford will be influenced by the prospective sales of players such as Jadon Sancho and Alejandro Garnacho.

Meanwhile, Tottenham manager Thomas Frank, who joined the club from Brentford in June, is said to be eager to bring in defensive reinforcements, with Collins being his main priority having working together at Frank’s previous club.
However, after selling former captain Christian Norgaard and Mbeumo this summer, and with striker Yoane Wissa poised to go before the window closes, Brentford are said to have no need to cash in on Collins.
Instead, the Bees would prefer to keep their new captain for the upcoming season, which means they would likely reject any formal approaches for the Irishman.
