Leicester City’s financial status has come under scrutiny after a number of incidents at the King Power Stadium in recent years.
Leicester are facing a points deduction after failing to comply with the profit and sustainability criteria (PSR) throughout recent campaigns.
The Foxes were charged with violating the PSR rules for 2022-23, however they avoided a points reduction by exploiting a loophole in the rules.
However, Leicester was charged in May with allegedly violating the EFL’s financial guidelines for 2023-24, the year they were promoted back to the Premier League.
According to finance expert Stefan Borson, Leicester would most certainly get a six-point reduction when their case was heard last month.

While the PSR saga has sparked widespread worry among Leicester fans, a new problem has developed at the King Power.
According to the Telegraph, the Foxes warned employees on Friday (19 December) that their monthly salary would not be paid before Christmas.
According to the publication, Leicester has opted to postpone their December payroll policy until New Year’s Eve, provoking “outrage and frustration” at the King Power.
The Championship club, which was demoted from the Premier League last season, has stated that the payment delay is not due to financial concerns.
However, the revelation is unlikely to please Foxes fans, who have questioned their owners’ decisions in recent years.
Leicester are owned by the King Power International Group, led by the club’s chairman, Aiyawatt ‘Top’ Srivaddhanaprabha.
Leicester make a tough move after big-name departure.
The decision to postpone employee payouts follows a substantial change that was confirmed to the management team in recent months.
Susan Whelan stepped down as Leicester’s CEO in October after 15 years at the helm.
Top is presently serving as temporary CEO following the departure of Whelan, who handled several crucial decisions during the Foxes’ most successful time, excepting the last few years.
The East Midlands club’s board currently includes Top, vice-chairman Apichet Srivaddhanaprabha, and director Shilai Liu.

Following Leicester’s uneven form this season, some have questioned manager Marti Cifuentes’ job.
However, the Foxes have closed the gap on the play-off places to three points after playing three games unbeaten in the Championship.
Cifuentes is currently preparing his team to face QPR on Saturday (20 December), as they begin a busy series of festive fixtures.
