Kobbie Mainoo ‘set to REJECT’ new Man Utd contract and has already decided where he wants to move next

There has been a shocking report that has revealed that Kobbie Mainoo, a star player for Manchester United, has decided to move on from the club and will not accept a new contract with them.

Mainoo has established himself as one of the most important players in Ruben Amorim’s squad ever since he made his debut with United’s senior team during the previous season.

As a result of the fact that his current contract has only two years left on it and there has been no news of him signing an extension, United supporters started to become concerned that their star player might be leaving the club relatively soon.

And it would appear that those fears have been confirmed, as a bombshell report has revealed that Mainoo will pass up any extension offers that are presented to him because he has already made up his mind about where he wants to play.

The Guardian has reported that Mainoo is currently planning to decline any contract extension offers from United and will instead look to move abroad during the upcoming summer transfer window. This information was revealed in a report that was published by The Guardian.

Taking into consideration the news, Manchester United has made the decision that they would be willing to sell the midfielder, who they estimate to be worth seventy million pounds, in order to improve their current financial situation.

During the most recent transfer window in January, the England international was rumoured to be interested in leaving United; however, it is believed that no concrete offer has been brought forward at this time.

A move within the Premier League is not currently on Mainoo’s agenda, contrary to recent rumours that suggested Chelsea was considering Mainoo as a possible summer target. However, it has now been revealed that Mainoo does not intend to make a move within the sport.

Mainoo’s current contract stipulates that he will receive a weekly salary of twenty thousand pounds; however, it is believed that he and his team would like to see this amount significantly increased in order to reflect the fact that he has become an increasingly important member of the team.

Keeping this in mind, United continues to maintain the belief that it is possible to persuade the 19-year-old to sign a new contract, despite the fact that the situation appears to be extremely precarious at the moment.

At the age of six, the talented player from Stockport joined United’s academy. In 2023, when he was 17 years old, he made his debut with the senior team under the direction of Erik ten Hag.

Since that time, he has gone on to make sixty appearances for United, establishing himself as an essential component of their midfielder unit overall.
