Kevin De Bruyne drops bombshell over his next club after proving he’s still got it during Man City comeback vs Crystal Palace

Kevin De Bruyne has dropped a transfer bombshell regarding his future after motivating Manchester City to a massive win against Crystal Palace.

Man City came from behind to defeat Palace 5-2 at the Etihad on Saturday as semi-automated offside technology was employed for the first time.

The visitors quickly took a two-goal lead, but De Bruyne’s spectacular free kick gave them one back.

Omar Marmoush equalised thanks in large part to the efforts of the Belgium international, who was participating in his first match since declaring his summer departure.

Mateo Kovacic gave his team the lead in the second half, and then James McAtee and Nico O’Reilly added goals four and five, respectively.

As the Blues face a challenging campaign, De Bruyne’s performance shown that he is still capable of giving his best effort.

Man City will have to fill the vacuum left by his impending departure by finding a Premier League star to replace his opulent services at the end of the current campaign.

Before deciding on his next professional move, De Bruyne will “analyse all the offers” he gets.

Speaking to the player after Man City’s triumph, Jan Aage Fjortoft said as much.

De Bruyne, 33, did not rule out a move to another Premier League team when Fjortoft questioned him about “offers from England.”

“De Bruyne just told me he will analyse all offers he gets,” he posted on X. About ‘offers from England’, I questioned him.

“Replied that he doesn’t exclude anything (any projects) at this stage, but that he hasn’t even seen his family since the decision.”

After a stint with Chelsea, De Bruyne joined Man City in the summer of 2015.

He only appeared in nine Chelsea games.

Pep Guardiola praised his star player, and teams all across the nation may be tempted to make a bid after his performance against Palace.

“The performance of Kevin De Bruyne is what he has done for many, many years, in many, many games,” he stated. “Unfortunately, he has been unable to do so lately due to issues with ailments that have lasted for a year, a lengthy year, surgery, and so on.

“But he played fantastic, helped us to break this momentum that was not good.”

Guardiola went on to say, “No one can do what Kevin De Bruyne has done.”
