According to reports, Jurgen Klopp is already dissatisfied at Red Bull and would think about going back to management for two significant football positions. Only four months have passed since he began his new position in January 2025.
When the German manager signed a five-year contract in January to become Red Bull’s Global Head of Football, many were taken aback. Only months had passed since leaving Liverpool after nine successful seasons with the Premier League team when the decision was made.
He acknowledged at the time that he was “running out of energy” as a manager of a major team, but it seems like he is experiencing the same problems in his new position. He is, in fact, “already unhappy and worn out with his new job at Red Bull after just four months and would return to management for two big jobs,” according to rumours in Brazil, as reported by the Daily Mail.
Klopp is “unhappy and worn out” at Red Bull and has been linked to Real Madrid and Brazil.

Brazil is one of the two teams linked to Klopp, along with European powerhouse Real Madrid, so it’s significant that these allegations originate there. According to the story, the German has already expressed discontent with his position.
Klopp’s mood is ‘a recurring topic in the halls of the firm’, despite the fact that he is reportedly making between £10.3m and £12m. However, Klopp would only quit Red Bull for Real Madrid or the Brazilian national team, according to people close to him.
Klopp advises clubs on coaching development, transfer strategy, and playing style rather than being involved in day-to-day operations at Red Bull. He may have expressed dissatisfaction because he would prefer a more active position in football.
The announcement follows Los Blancos’ Champions League humiliation at the hands of Arsenal. Madrid was defeated 2-1 at home following a 3-0 loss at the Emirates in the first leg. Following the 5-1 aggregate loss, Carlo Ancelotti has been strongly linked to leaving.

Klopp has been mentioned as a potential successor in Spain, and these new reports will only fuel the conjecture. It’s interesting to note that Ancelotti and his German counterpart would be competing for the Brazil position because they have been associated with it for a long time.
After the Arsenal loss, Ancelotti recently acknowledged that he might be searching for a new position soon, stating: “It could be this year, next year when my contract runs out… Nothing is wrong with it. However, I shall be appreciative of this club when I leave. I will be appreciative of this club whether it is tomorrow, a year from now, or ten years from now. That’s it. Complete halt.”
After losing 4-1 to rivals Argentina in a World Cup qualifying match this March, Dorival Junior was fired, leaving La Selecao without a head coach at the moment.
