Jurgen Klopp recommended for Celtic manager’s post, to the displeasure of Kris Boyd and Steven Naismith.

In the process of finding Celtic’s new manager, Dermot Desmond might relax a bit.

That process has only been facilitated by Celtic’s victory over Rangers in the League Cup semi-finals on Sunday, which was made possible by Martin O’Neill and Shaun Maloney.

Over that time, a number of names have been put forward, brought up, and circulated as potential contenders for the next permanent Celtic manager post.

However, few of you anticipated that the legendary coach of Liverpool, Jurgen Klopp, would be mentioned, as neither Kris Boyd nor Steven Naismith did.

It is anticipated that Jurgen Klopp will succeed him as Celtic’s manager.
Charlie Mulgrew, Boyd, and Naismith discussed what would happen to Scotland’s champions when Celtic defeated Rangers in the League Cup.

Both jokingly and seriously, Mulgrew suggested that Desmond knock on Klopp’s door and implore him to don the recognizable green and white.

Boyd and Naismith asked, “Are you playing Football Manager?” after being taken aback by what they heard on the Warm Up podcast.

“I would go all out and get Jurgen Klopp through the door,” Mulgrew told me.

“Oh my days,” replies Boyd.

Naismith chuckles. “Are you using this to play Football Manager?”

Mulgrew asks, “Why can’t we?” with a smile.

“You can’t say that with a straight face,” Naismith retorted.

Then Mulgrew laughs and asks, “Why not?” £7 million annually. Give it to him. The door opened as Jurgen Klopp entered. “What’s causing you to check your watch?”

“It’s a quarter to eleven,” said Boyd. Did you continue following the semifinals? “Or did you wake up early today?”

Mulgrew: “I know it’s unrealistic, but what’s your argument against it?”

“Yes, that is the argument,” said Naismith.

“Could Dermot Desmond say, ‘Do you know?'” Mulgrew said. After Rodgers gets here, we’re going to bounce back and go.

“If you were Jurgen Klopp,” said Naismith. Are you saying, “If I can attend a top five team in the world, I’ll go to Celtic?”

Mulgrew: “Celtic is one of the biggest teams in Europe. Rangers are in a different predicament. He’d never come close to it (laughs). Because you don’t want Klopp to be the one, you’re furious. If it gains any momentum, you are trying to shoot it down.

Klopp responds, “Oh, I fancy that.”

This will never occur, of course.
Due to financial limitations, Celtic or possibly Rangers will no longer be able to compete in the top European competitions.

First and foremost, the players. If you go back to before the year 2000, when O’Neill first took charge, Glasgow might be able to draw in a player of a greater class.

Scottish football will remain at the bottom of the food chain unless there is a financial revolution.
