Jamie Carragher suggests Arne Slot does brutal thing to Trent Alexander-Arnold after Liverpool right-back’s goal vs Leicester

Trent Alexander-Arnold scored the game-winning goal for Liverpool against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium on Sunday. Jamie Carragher has stated that Liverpool manager Arne Slot punishes Alexander-Arnold for his performance.

Alexander-Arnold, who is 26 years old, scored the game’s lone goal, which resulted in Liverpool claiming a 1-0 victory. This victory brings Liverpool one step closer to achieving what is now an unavoidable 20th Premier League championship.

After his left-footed drive struck the net, the right-back was clearly upset and raced to the supporters of the Reds before stripping off his jersey. He was inserted in the second half of the match.

After the match, he was directly asked if he’s leaving Liverpool live on Sky Sports, to which he replied: “Look, obviously, like I’ve said all season, I am not going to speak on my situation, I am not going to go into details but these days like today are always special: scoring goals, winning games, being close to winning titles and being in title races, they are special moments that will live for me forever. I am quite happy to be a member of them.

The addition of Alexander-Arnold was as follows: “To do it for the fans here is a very special moment.” At the same time as we do it for ourselves and our family, we also do it for the fans. Since they are the ones who travel to the games and spend their money, it is the least that they deserve to see us give our best effort on the pitch and win games.

The fact that some of us are so close to winning a second league title and others are on the verge of winning their first, particularly in front of fans, which is something that we have been lacking, is a really memorable moment. My friend Virgil pulled me to the front so that I could take it all in and get a better look at it. Once again, the supporters have been incredible throughout this season; they have pushed us to the very end of every game, and they have done so once again tonight in order to assist us in winning the game.

Carragher, on the other hand, expressed his scathing opinion of what Slot ought to do to the England player between now and the end of the season that is now underway.

Immediately following Liverpool’s triumph, Carragher made the following statement on Sky Sports: “If Trent hasn’t committed, which he hasn’t… to the manager for next season, he shouldn’t be starting games.”

Almost immediately, Micah Richards chimed in and made the following suggestion: “Perhaps not for a send off for him… you should think about planning for the following season.”

Carragher concluded by saying: “Liverpool are not here as a football club to give someone a send off.”

Richards responded by saying, “You win the league after such a long time – he’s been a significant contributor to that.” What you are saying [regarding the upcoming season] is understandable to me, and I completely comprehend it. Because of the things he has done for the club, he has been a member ever since he was a little lad. They are going to win the league as a means of congratulating him on his accomplishments and giving him a couple more opportunities to play.
