Some names could come to mind right away when you consider potential candidates for Manchester United’s worst-ever acquisition. Despite his genius, Sir Alex Ferguson wasn’t always successful in the transfer market.
During his time, he signed various bad players, such as Juan Sebastian Veron, Kleberson, Bebe, and Massimo Taibi.
United has spent a lot of money since his departure in an effort to return to their previous glory, but most of that money has been wasted. Despite spending a lot of money on players like Antony, Paul Pogba, Jadon Sancho, and Andre Onana in recent years, none of them have lived up to the hype.
Man United’s worst-ever signing, according to Jadon Sancho

Adam McKola, a YouTuber and Manchester United supporter, has now called Sancho the team’s worst-ever acquisition. The Englishman paid £73 million to join United in 2021, but he has only scored 12 goals and provided six assists in 83 games for the team.
McKola referred to him as a “disgrace” and “the biggest waste of space I’ve ever seen in a United shirt” during an appearance on Jamie Carragher and Paul Scholes’s show, The Overlap Fan Debate.
In response to the 25-year-old’s question about his true level of talent, Carragher savaged him. “It’s funny with Jadon Sancho,” he added.
“Gary Neville and I went on a show where we had to choose an England squad back when he was at Borussia Dortmund. He was performing well in the Champions League, but we hadn’t seen much of him. ‘How can you not pick Sancho?’ was what everyone on social media said.
“I’m still not certain that much talent exists there. He’s fine, but I fail to see what makes him unique. Despite my criticism of Marcus Rashford, I can imagine his speed, shooting, free-kicks, and the force he gives the ball. When it comes to Sancho, I simply cannot imagine what his thing is.
Carragher refused to listen to the fan’s claim that Sancho has the “ability to dribble in tight spaces,” saying, “I’ve never seen it in my life.” I haven’t.
Aston Villa’s choice to sign Jadon Sancho is questioned by Paul Scholes.

Scholes has called Sancho’s summer loan move to Aston Villa “weird.” Sancho is one of United’s 20 worst-ever acquisitions.
“Unai Emery is a strange addition, yet he might be beneficial for him. We discussed how Villa Park’s enormous pitch would be a problem for him. You’re worried about a lack of legs and a lack of pace.
Although he is capable, what is his strength? Does he smash it in the upper corner after cutting inside? Is he capable of defeating a man? He might connect with a centre forward.
“It’s a pace concern to turn around after outpacing defenders. He most likely have the ability to evade someone, but they capture him. He is unable to continue.
When Villa travels to Merseyside to play Everton on Saturday, September 13, Sancho might make his debut. He will be trying to disprove Carragher and Scholes if he makes an appearance.
