A new report claims that Jadon Sancho has already expressed his desire to join the club that he has identified as his “dream destination” prior to the summer window. Sancho has already expressed his desire to join the club.
In August, Sancho took a loan from Manchester United to Chelsea for the duration of the current season. The agreement included an obligation to buy the player for a maximum of twenty-five million pounds if Chelsea finished in the fourteenth or higher position in the Premier League.
The 24-year-old forward has been struggling for form as of late, with his most recent goal coming in December against Spurs. When he first arrived at Stamford Bridge, he had an impressive start to his life there.
According to Sky Sports, despite the fact that a get-out clause has been revealed, Chelsea is still anticipated to sign Sancho on a permanent basis.
During the course of this week, it became known that the Blues might decide against moving forward with the complete transfer by offering their parent club United a fixed fee of only five million pounds.
Sancho’s situation is being monitored by Bundesliga clubs Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund, according to reports, in anticipation of a “opportunistic” offer that will be made in the summer. This comes in the midst of Sancho’s uncertain future.
Furthermore, according to a report that was published in the German publication BILD, the player has reportedly made a request to his management to join his former club Dortmund.
“Sancho has never lost touch with his old love,” an additional statement is made in the report. “He maintains a consistent communication with his close friend Jamie Gittens and is completely on the ball with the Ruhr club,” stated the speaker. The word is getting around in his English circle that his desire to play in the Bundesliga again is growing stronger by the day.
In point of fact, Dortmund is now considered to be “a kind of dream destination” for Sancho, who moved to Dortmund from Manchester City in 2017. Prior to joining Dortmund, Sancho played for Die Schwarzgelben and scored 50 goals in 137 matches.
The following year, in January of the previous year, Sancho returned to Dortmund on loan for the remainder of the 2023/24 season. This was after he had previously signed with Manchester United in 2021 for a reported fee of £73 million.
Sancho has made it abundantly clear in the past that he desired to continue playing for Chelsea after his loan agreement was renewed.
According to what he said on Chelsea’s official website in December, “It’s still a bit weird to me, but it’s always good to be home.” Both my family and my friends are as close as they can get.
Ever since I was a child, I have been a fan of Chelsea Football Club because of Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba. I had a conversation with Enzo [Maresca] prior to my arrival, and he expressed his intention to collaborate with me.
“He presented me with his plans depicting where he sees me fitting in the team, and he explained to me how I could be of assistance to the team as it moves forward. That led me to this location. He was able to get me to feel at ease. On the Facetime call that we had, I liked the energy that he had.
This team is filled with a lot of talented individuals. It’s strange to be one of the players who is getting older. Quite a few young men can be found in this spot. As someone who has a great deal of experience, I am able to demonstrate and assist a few of the younger ones who are coming through.
And they are able to assist me. We have the potential to accomplish a great deal if we all remain united and put in a lot of effort together.
