‘Insanely Average’ – Slot Can’t Stick With Liverpool Man Who Was ‘Tormented’ vs Chelsea

After being “tormented” after Sunday’s 2-1 loss to Chelsea, Liverpool fans have suddenly realised that one “insanely average” player may need to be removed from Arne Slot’s team. At Stamford Bridge, the Reds once again had trouble getting going, and their haphazard performance is starting to become a pattern.

With almost 15 players joining and leaving throughout the summer, the Premier League champions made a big splash. They broke the British transfer record twice by spending more than £400 million to get Alexander Isak and Florian Wirtz. Although a lot of people thought they would start right away, Liverpool hasn’t been able to reach their full potential because of a number of teething problems.

It’s not all bad news, of course. Although performances have frequently fallen short of expectations, the club has maintained strong results, winning seven straight games prior to last weekend’s loss to Crystal Palace. Slot must now decide on his best lineup in order to continue to gel his team following the international break, and if Conor Bradley’s cameo against Chelsea is any indication, he may soon find himself out of his manager’s thoughts.

Chelsea Tears Conor Bradley Apart in a Horrible First Half

Bradley, who was dismissed at halftime after having trouble dealing with Alejandro Garnacho and receiving a yellow card early on, appears to be the player most affected by Liverpool’s growing pains following the most recent game. He was driven ragged by a guy who was jeered off stage at Manchester United during the summer, which doesn’t speak well for him, even though the switch was obviously made to keep him from getting sent off after one or two reckless challenges following his card.

Bradley, a player who was once adored by the Anfield supporters for his aggression just a few months ago, is now finding that same trait working against him. This problem is made worse by issues in other areas of the team, especially Ibrahima Konate, whose attention appears to be divided due to rumoured interest from Real Madrid. One X user commented on the Northern Irishman’s first-half horror show:

“I don’t know why Connor Bradley is so highly rated, I think he’s insanely average.”

However, this is not the first time a recently revived winger has defeated him; just a few weeks ago, Jack Grealish had a field day against him in the Merseyside Derby. Bradley’s recent appearances were summed up perfectly by another X user, who added: “I love him, but Conor Bradley has been a walking talking yellow card recently.”

A third person said, “Bradley struggling vs. Garnacho is worrying, because Garnacho isn’t anything special,” while a fourth person noted, “Bradley blowing another opportunity in the starting XI with a pointless yellow card.” A fifth, nevertheless, came to the conclusion: “Bradley. Horrible.
