When Chelsea plays Liverpool, Enzo Maresca will have to alter the starting lineup by at least two players. This weekend marks the Blues’ first Premier League match following the October international break.
After Chelsea and Nottingham Forest were held to a 1-1 draw in their previous meeting, Maresca will need to make two changes to the lineup he had at Stamford Bridge.
Wesley Fofana and Marc Cucurella are serving one-match bans, therefore they will be suspended for the encounter against Liverpool.
The tie with Forest earned both defenders their fifth yellow card of the year, meaning they won’t be able to play in the Premier League again until Chelsea takes on Newcastle on October 27.
