I am willing to join Manchester United, but only on one condition – Thomas Tuchel has explicitly communicated his intentions after the reasons for rejecting Manchester United have been revealed.
Thomas Tuchel, the former manager of Bayern Munich, has consistently shown interest in the Premier League and was heavily rumoured to be a potential candidate for the Manchester United job at the conclusion of the previous season.
Despite not being appointed as the Manchester United manager earlier this year, the German coach, Thomas Tuchel, has openly expressed his desire to return to the Premier League.
Following the announcement in February of the previous year, stating that the 51-year-old Tuchel would resign as the head coach of Bayern Munich at the end of the 2023-2024 season, he was promptly associated with other high-profile roles.
Given the immense pressure Erik ten Hag faced at the end of the previous season, the position at Manchester United was one of the options he considered.
Ten Hag received a contract extension after a spectacular victory against Manchester City in last season’s FA Cup final. However, the Dutchman is now under criticism due to a disappointing start to the current season.
Consequently, there has been conjecture over his future and stories detailing the discussions that occurred between Ten Hag and United. Bild asserts that the club’s transfer policy was the reason for Tuchel’s decision to decline further discussions.
Although it is uncertain whether the senior executives at Old Trafford will consider approaching Tuchel again if they choose to replace Ten Hag in the near future, Tuchel has previously expressed his willingness to return to England.
In a May interview, Tuchel expressed his admiration for his tenure at Chelsea, where he achieved victory in the Champions League. He explicitly stated his openness to the prospect of working in the Premier League again.
