“I really wanted to sign him because He was blessed with great talent and sweet skills but I don’t know why he has choosen to destroy his career”: Bayern Munich coach Vincent Kompany says ONE Man United’s summer signing was very good before joining the club but now struggling to prove his worth

Footage has resurfaced of Vincent Kompany’s harsh dressing-room outburst directed at his Anderlecht teammates, eliciting enthusiastic reactions from Manchester City fans upon discovering that the Belgian manager was targeting a new Manchester United player.

The footage, recorded following his club’s last-minute equalizer that resulted in a 2-2 tie against Sint-Truiden in October 2021, depicts the manager revealing to the squad “one f***ing side of [him] that [they] haven’t f***ing seen.”

Kompany emphatically asserts to centre-back Wesley Hoedt that the choice of employing ‘four, five, or six’ defenders rests solely with him, as other squad members observe in astonishment.

He informs the Dutchman that he will assume responsibility if Anderlecht ‘loses or underperforms’ due to his methods.

Kompany subsequently criticizes new Manchester United acquisition Joshua Zirkzee, amusing Manchester City fans who witnessed the Belgian secure 10 significant titles while wearing sky blue.

The current Bayern Munich manager states: ‘Secondly, Zirk, I already addressed your attitude.’

“You may leave; I do not require a smile, but I demand an impeccable attitude.”

I could have departed from Hendrik [Van Crombrugge] to the final destination without objection.

We merited defeat today anyhow. We may be quite satisfied with one point.

We have squandered 95 minutes. Your time was squandered, as was mine. It was preferable to abstain from attending. It was preferable to dispatch the under-21s.

Zirkzee, then on loan from Bayern Munich, surmounted the setback to conclude the league season with 15 goals and eight assists across 32 appearances.

This led to the Dutch forward’s transfer to Bologna, where he faced a challenging 2022-23 season before netting 12 goals in 37 appearances in a commendable subsequent season.
