“I Know he’s a great player but at this point he has to leave”: Man United’s coach Ruben Amorim has confirmed ONE Man United’s big name player is not in his plan anymore, ready to terminate his contract

It has been stated that Manchester United may take into consideration selling Marcus Rashford during the January transfer window if they receive “top offers” for the position of attacker.

There have been a total of 425 senior appearances made by Rashford, who has won five major titles, including two FA Cups and one Europa League. Rashford has spent his whole career with the Red Devils, having joined the club’s academy when he was seven years old. He has also recorded 138 goals and 67 assists.

However, the 27-year-old has had a difficult time regaining the form that allowed him to score a career-high 30 goals for Manchester United during the 2022-23 season.

Rashford, who was once considered to be one of the most talented players in England, only managed to score eight goals and provide five assists in 43 appearances across all competitions during the previous season. Since then, he has contributed seven goals and three assists in 23 games for Manchester United, which is currently ranked thirteenth in the Premier League table.

Rashford has scored three of those goals since the arrival of new head coach Ruben Amorim, who recently hinted that Rashford may have a key role to play under him at Old Trafford. There have been three goals scored since Amorim took over as head coach.

A possible sale of Rashford is being discussed by Manchester United.

On the other hand, a writer for Sky Deutschland named Florian Plettenberg claims that Manchester United are prepared to sell Rashford “at the latest by the summer” and that they would also be “open to top offers” for the attacker in the month of January.

In addition, Plettenberg states that the Red Devils recognize Rashford’s recent progress under Amorim, but that the Englishman is “definitely not unsellable.”

The fact that Manchester United is considering the possibility of selling Rashford due to the fact that it would help enhance their financial position and free up “critical points in the complicated Financial Fair Play (FFP) system” is one of the primary reasons these discussions are taking place.

Given that Rashford is a player who was born and raised at Old Trafford, the selling of his services would constitute an unadulterated profit for FFP. As a result, the club might be able to produce adequate revenue to devote toward the acquisition of new players.

Earlier this year, Rashford was rumored to be interested in joining Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain, and Bayern Munich. However, he is currently under contract at the Theatre of Dreams until the summer of 2028 because of his current position.

Who could Manchester United get with the money they get from selling Rashford?

Since the arrival of Amorim, Manchester United has been connected with a multitude of attackers, none more so than Sporting Lisbon goal machine Viktor Gyokeres. According to reports, the Red Devils have purportedly held “concrete talks” with the striker who is valued at £83 million.

It has been stated that Amorim is eager for Manchester United to acquire a new forward in the month of January. However, due to the complicated nature of mid-season agreements, it may be challenging to get a deal for Gyokeres, who is the primary target for the club currently.

Victor Boniface of Bayer Leverkusen, Randal Kolo Muani of Paris Saint-Germain, and Omar Marmoush of Eintracht Frankfurt are rumored to be among the players that Manchester United has identified as possible targets.

While all is going on, it has been reported that Manchester United have a “serious” interest in Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, a winger who is in high demand at Napoli and who has not yet agreed to a new deal with the Serie A side.

According to reports, Amorim’s team is keeping a close eye on the 19-year-old winger Kenan Yildiz, who is also considered to be “one of the top names” on the shortlist of players that Manchester United is considering.
