For the first time in an extended period, the atmosphere in the Manchester United dressing room appears to be positive, despite an imperfect commencement to the season.
However, it is important to acknowledge that there have been some off-field setbacks. Earlier this month, Alejandro Garnacho’s social media engagement garnered attention once again as he liked an Instagram post conveying Cristiano Ronaldo’s critique of Manchester United’s present situation and Erik ten Hag. It was, however, swiftly disapproved.
The event resulted solely in fan discourse, and when the young player was relegated to the bench for the recent victory over Southampton, sources promptly clarified that it was merely a tactical choice, not a disciplinary action.
He began the Reds’ midweek Carabao Cup match against Barnsley, promptly justifying his manager’s trust with an outstanding performance, during which he recorded two goals and two assists.
He was then shown concealing his lips and joking with Ten Hag upon being substituted by Amad Diallo in the closing phases of the match, leading one supporter to comment: “It appears Ten Hag has pardoned Garnacho for liking that post.”
No animosity exists between Garnacho and Ten Hag.
Garnacho’s younger brother, Roberto, subsequently replied: “Of course.” When you commit an error off the field, you must apologize in accordance with your performances. Refraining from attributing blame to anybody.
Regrettably, all appears to be satisfactory between the two, despite the fact that it should not have been a significant concern first!
