After seeing Manchester United defeat Barnsley seven goals to one in the Carabao Cup, Erik ten Hag gave an explanation for why he is “not celebrating.”

Ten Hag maintained his composure and stated, “I think we could do everything what we planned to do,” in spite of the outstanding performance. We are glad because, in my opinion, we won the following round, scored some fantastic goals, delighted the crowd, and improved our game model. I wasn’t crushed by Liverpool’s 3-0 loss. I’m not celebrating right now. We are on a journey, and we’ll assess our success in May. Until then, you must perform at the highest level, and in the interim, the team must advance each time.
