The 2024/25 Premier League has come to an end after a relatively calm final day of fixtures: Liverpool has been given a champions parade around Anfield, Enzo Maresca’s Chelsea and Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United have secured Champions League action for next season, and Manchester United finished 15th.
As a result of the proceedings coming to a finish, all 20 competing teams are set to get their annual prize money distribution – and last season, they received six payouts from the Premier League’s £2.84 billion kitty.
That includes merit payments, which are based on where each team ends the season, and The Mirror has revealed how much each team – from the title-winning Reds to the bottom-placed Saints – is likely to get now that the 2024/25 top flight season has ended.
20-16 teams: Southampton, Ipswich Town, Leicester City, Tottenham Hotspur, and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Southampton are widely regarded as one of the poorest teams in Premier League history, as proven by their 20th-place finish, therefore it should come as no surprise that they were paid only £2.8 million.
Ipswich Town and Leicester City have also been demoted from the English top tier, but the two now-Championship clubs are projected to earn £5.7 million and £8.5 million, respectively.
Tottenham Hotspur have struggled domestically, despite their success in the Europa League. Despite winning on the final day, Ange Postecoglou’s Spurs are expected to take home a measly £11.3 million.
Wolverhampton Wanderers, despite a successful season, particularly under Vitor Pereira’s leadership, have yet to reach the £15 million barrier, according to sources, but a top 10 finish next season might bolster their finances.

15-11: Manchester United, West Ham United, Everton, Crystal Palace, Fulham.
According to Ruben Amorim, Manchester United was on the verge of relegation at one point, thus finishing 15th after defeating Aston Villa on the final day is far better than anyone anticipated. They are expected to earn £16.9 million, less than West Ham United (£19.7 million).
Everton and this season’s FA Cup winners Crystal Palace, who finished 13th and 12th, respectively, will be pleased with how 2024/25 has turned out, especially considering the potential for significant financial gain.
Marco Silva has once again performed admirably as Fulham’s manager, despite the club finishing slightly outside the top half. Craven Cottage will earn £28.2 million as a result of its 11th-place performance.

10-6 Brentford, Bournemouth, Brighton & Hove Albion, Nottingham Forest, and Aston Villa.
Thomas Frank’s Brentford, Bournemouth, driven by the outstanding Andoni Iraola, and Fabian Hurzeler’s Brighton & Hove Albion all had successful domestic seasons in England in 2024/25. As a result, they expect to earn £31 million, £33.8 million, and £36.7 million, respectively, as they aim to secure European football in 2026/27.
Nottingham Forest were previously on track to return to the continent’s top tier club tournament, but instead concluded the season in seventh position, with the Europa Conference League (and £39.4 million) to contend with. Aston Villa will earn £42.2 million after finishing sixth in the Europa League.

Newcastle United won 5-1 over Chelsea, Manchester City, Arsenal, and Liverpool.
Newcastle United and Chelsea are also expected to benefit financially as a result of their last-minute efforts to secure Champions League football. The two clubs will earn £45.1 million and £47.9 million, respectively, as they both look forward to competing at Europe’s top level.
After Kevin De Bruyne left, Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City may have gone the season trophyless, but finishing in the top four was unavoidable, wasn’t it? In an otherwise atypical season, they won 2-0 against Fulham to claim the bronze medal.
Arsenal, who have placed second for the past three seasons, are likely to collect an eye-catching £53.5 million. Next season, Mikel Arteta and his entourage believe he will be the one to finally win gold.
Arne Slot has managed to soothe the post-Jurgen Klopp angst by winning the Premier League title in his first season – and as a result, the Dutchman’s side is set to receive a significant windfall. In actuality, they might earn roughly £56.4 million.
