Manchester United

“He’s a perfect player and I enjoy watch him playing…However, I won’t leave because of him rather I fight for my starting position”: Marcus Rashford responds to Man United after the Reds activate release clause to sign World-class Winger as personal terms is already agreed.

Joshua Zirkzee and Manchester United are attempting to come to an amicable agreement before formally activating his release clause.

The rumours about Joshua Zirkzee’s transfer have intensified over the past few days. All of a sudden, it seems like “when” rather than “if” will determine this transfer.

After initially giving the impression that AC Milan was the front-runners during the transfer season, the Bologna striker is now strongly linked to a move to Old Trafford.

The most recent information regarding the Dutchman’s future has been released by TalkSPORT, which states that before activating the player’s £33 million release clause, United is genuinely attempting to reach a personal agreement with their transfer target.

Regarding a possible move to the Theatre of Dreams, United and Zirkzee’s agent Kia Joorabchian are still in talks.

Zirkzee is still “open” to moving to the Premier League this summer, despite having previously had “advanced” conversations with AC Milan.

After losing Anthony Martial to a free transfer this summer, Erik ten Hag is hoping to give Rasmus Hojlund some competition in the striking position.

Zirkzee led Bologna to fifth place in Serie A last season with 12 goals in all competitions.

The Dutch striker, who is now travelling with the Netherlands to the European Championship, is also a target for Arsenal. This could imply that signing the forward is put off until after the competition.

This seems like a wise business decision. An extremely low cost for a guy with enormous potential and upside who is in need for Ten Hag. Before moving on to other transfer targets, let’s hope United can complete a deal fairly swiftly.
