HERE WE GO: Two key players in Manchester City are set to sign a life-changing deal with Al-Hilal, a team in the Saudi Pro League

According to a recent report, Al-Hilal is keen on acquiring the services of both Kyle Walker and Joao Cancelo from Manchester City during the upcoming summer transfer window.

According to The Guardian, Hilal is currently looking for a replacement for Saud Abdulhamid and has prepared a list of three prominent candidates for the position. Both Walker and Cancelo are included in the list, along with Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen. Trent Alexander-Arnold was initially pursued as a potential candidate, but, the English national clearly expressed his lack of want to relocate to Saudi Arabia.

The broader perspective
Although Walker expressed interest in relocating to Germany when Bayern Munich showed interest last summer, City reportedly have no intention of permitting him departure this time. Cancelo was loaned out to Barcelona for the previous season and was not included in the club’s roster for the match against Chelsea over the weekend. Guardiola has acknowledged the possibility of his departure.

Following Bayern’s expressed interest and Walker’s decision to remain at the club, he proceeded to sign a new contract that is valid until 2026. Therefore, it is improbable that he would move to a different club this summer. However, the situation is different for Cancelo, who might consider a transfer to Saudi Arabia as an opportunity to revive his stagnant career.

The City football team will compete against Ipswich this upcoming weekend. Walker was a substitute for their match against Chelsea but is expected to be included in the starting lineup for the upcoming encounter against the newly promoted Tractor Boys.
