HERE WE GO: Manchester United signs a deal to get “the next Yaya Toure.” —Report

Report: “the next Yaya Toure” has been signed by Manchester United.
One of the best players at the Under-17 World Cup is likely to join Manchester United.

A very good midfielder from Mali named Sekou Kone has decided to join Manchester United from a club in his home country.

According to The Athletic, United has made a deal with Guidars FC and sees 18-year-old Kone as a future first-team defensive midfielder. For now, though, he will play for the United junior team.

Manchester United is thought to have won the race to sign Kone, even though other teams in the Premier League and across Europe were also interested. The deal is worth £1.2 million, and there may be more money added to it in the future.

“Next Yaya Toure” Kone is set to move to Manchester United.
Mali made it to the semi-finals of the under-17 World Cup last year, where Kone played very well. They were ahead against France but lost 2-1. After that, Mali beat Argentina 3-0 in the play-off for third place.

They also say that Kone’s impressive and well-rounded play has caused a lot of excitement in the African football scene, likening him to a young Yaya Toure.

They also say that United have resisted offers from Red Bull Salzburg, Crystal Palace, and Wolverhampton Wanderers to sign Kone, who they have been looking for a long time.

However, Premier League clubs can’t agree to deals with players younger than 18, so United couldn’t make their move in January. Kone wouldn’t have turned 18 until February.

Kone used to go to the JMG Academy in Mali. Yves Bissouma and Amadou Haidara, two midfielders for Tottenham Hotspur and RB Leipzig, are among the academy’s grads. The second player has been mentioned with United in the past.

United has signed new players this summer. They are Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna, Leny Yoro from Lille, and Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui from Bayern Munich.
