He wants to bring the superstar to Old Trafford – Phil Foden thinks Sir Jim Ratcliffe is trying to sign an ‘unbelievable player’ for Man United

Since Eberechi Eze has been so good the last couple of years, teams all over the country are lining up to sign the Crystal Palace star.

Phil Foden doesn’t like the idea of Manchester United signing Eberechi Eze because he has previously called the Crystal Palace star “unbelievable.” Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who owns a part of United, spent £180 million on five new players over the summer and doesn’t seem to be planning to cut back on his spending.

Reports say the club wants to make an even bigger splash in 2025. They want defenders, midfielders, and wings. Ratcliffe is one of many fans of Eze at Old Trafford, and United is said to be interested in signing the 26-year-old next summer.

They can get the Eagles star for £68 million, which is something the Red Devils are eager to do to start a romance.
They won’t be the only ones after Eze next summer, after all.

Last month, Tottenham, Manchester City, and Arsenal were all mentioned with him. Based on Foden’s latest words, it’s clear that he would be okay with the midfielder joining those teams.

In a video posted to the England national team’s official YouTube account, Foden, 24, said, “I just think he [Eze] is unbelievable the way he controls the ball. It’s everything about him the way he moves on it and someone I rate really highly.”

“I was really worried for the club that we would lose both Michael O’Olise and Ebbs Eze in the same window,” Parish told Sky Sports. “We didn’t get as much interest in Ebbs as I thought we would.”

“I was shocked.” Honestly shocked. I mean, the guy is just a great football player and a great person.

Eze was born in London and has played more than 120 times for Palace since coming from Queens Park Rangers in 2020.

He’s been a regular in the first team while he’s been there, but his form has been especially impressive in the last couple of years. The Manchester Evening News now says that United are keeping an eye on him ahead of a possible move for him next summer.

He played his first game for England in 2023 and was on Gareth Southgate’s Euro 2024 team. But at the competition, he had to settle for a small part because Foden, Bukayo Saka, Jude Bellingham, and Cole Palmer were better known.
