He kept me employed today. Had it not been for Him, I may have lost my job by now. INEOS sent me a message once we agreed to the punishment.I’m not sure how to express my gratitude to Him yet. The one player that kept him alive today was Erik Ten Hag, not Rashford, De ligt, or Mainoo.

Manchester United and Southampton squared off at St. Mary’s Stadium earlier this afternoon in an attempt to win the Premier League on the road. After a sluggish start to the match, Matthijs de Ligt’s well-placed header from close range gave the Red Devils the lead in the 35th minute. Just six minutes later, Marcus Rashford increased Man United’s lead, sending Erik ten Hag’s team into halftime leading 2-0.


Alejandro Garnacho gave the visitors a 3-0 lead in injury time after referee Jack Stephens was thrown off in the 79th minute. Man United won the match 3-0 on the road, sealing an outstanding triumph.

GK: 8.5/10 for Andre Onana



Onana performed admirably to stop Cameron Archer’s penalty kick and preserve a crucial clean sheet this afternoon.


RB: 7.5/10 for Noussair Mazraoui

He made some good runs with the ball on the right flank and was a rock at the back.

CB: 9/10 for Matthijs de Ligt

The talented Dutchman did a good job both defensively and in scoring the first goal from close range. He is deserving of the title of man of the match.

CB: 7.5/10 for Lisandro Martinez

Martinez was proficient with the ball and played a considerable amount of defence inside his half.

DIOGO DLOT: 7.5/10 in LB

Dalot was active in the opposition’s half but had a few unsteady moments at the back. He had an assist at the end of the game.

CM: 7.5/10 for Kobbie Mainoo

He had a beneficial impact on the game from both ends of the pitch.

CM: 7/10 for Christian Eriksen

Eriksen created a few good opportunities in the last third by occasionally making good use of his experience.

RW: 8/10 for Amad Diallo

Diallo created numerous good opportunities for those around him and was rewarded with an assist.

CAM: (8/10) Bruno Fernandes

In the last third of the game, he was a continuous threat and finished with an assist.

LW: 7.5/10 for Marcus Rashford

In the Southampton half, Rashford had a couple of good moments. He also helped his club double their lead shortly before halftime.

Although he posed a serious threat to the opposing team’s defence, he was unable to score.
