“He is the best replacement we need to dominate the EPL for a very long time, get him in immediately ” Arsenal legend Ian Wright sends stunning request to Edu and Mikel Arteta as club prepares to sign superstar ahead of summer transfer window

According to Spanish media, Arsenal is closely monitoring Las Palmas goalie Alvaro Valles in anticipation of the upcoming summer transfer window.

Aston Villa, Real Betis, and Arsenal have expressed interest in the 26-year-old Valles, who began his career in Real Madrid’s minor system.

Valles has emerged as a vital member of Las Palmas’ La Liga team this season, playing every minute of the campaign. Even though Las Palmas is presently tenth in the Spanish first league, outperforming teams like Sevilla and Villarreal, Valles has been crucial to their success. Valles has a remarkable total of 129 appearances for Las Palmas. The summer of 2025 is when his contract is expected to expire.

Despite the rumours that he may be transferring to Betis, Villa, or Arsenal, Valles remains confident about his future. His top priority is to complete the current 2023–24 season with Las Palmas before deciding on his future.

Arsenal is interested in finding a new goalkeeper because of rumours that Aaron Ramsdale may depart the Emirates Stadium at the end of the current campaign. After making a major error in a match against Brentford, Ramsdale, who has let David Raya take the lead this season, came under fire. Due to a loan agreement, Raya was unable to participate in that match.

Arsenal has also been linked to goalkeeper Patrick Schulte, who currently plays Major League Soccer for Columbus Crew. The 23-year-old Schulte had a significant impact during his debut campaign by assisting his team in winning the 2023 MLS Cup.

Additionally, in a friendly game against Slovenia in January, he made his international debut for the United States. As it evaluates its goalkeeping alternatives moving forward, Arsenal’s pursuit of players like Valles and Schulte demonstrates the team’s dedication to bolstering its roster at every position.
