“He has been suspended for that particular action he made last week… He’s our key Player but as a professional Player he must be guided by decorum”: Enzo Maresca suspends ONE big name Chelsea’s Player for unprofessional acts last week

Jadon Sancho, who is on loan from Manchester United, has missed the last two games “for tactical reasons,” according to Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca.

Sancho, who joined the Blues from Manchester United on a season-long loan in the summer, is anticipated to make the move permanent by the end of 2024–2025.

He contributed to the team’s first three Premier League games after making a strong start at Stamford Bridge.

But in Chelsea’s last two games—against Newcastle United in the Premier League and Panathinaikos in the Europa Conference League—the 24-year-old has not been utilized as a substitute.

He didn’t participate in the last two games because of tactical choices. Before Wednesday’s Carabao Cup matchup against Eddie Howe’s team, Maresca informed reporters, “No more than that.”

Since his arrival, Sancho has been performing well. Players are unable to stay at the same level throughout the season.

“He needs to keep working hard because he will be playing a lot of games.”

Maresca, however, has lauded English football’s “beautiful” culture for producing drama that makes it the envy of the rest of Europe.

Five of the ten Premier League games that took place over the weekend saw the outcome change in stoppage time; the two most notable of these were Manchester United’s late 2-1 loss to West Ham and Brentford’s 4-3 victory over Ipswich on Saturday.

Everton and Bournemouth each grabbed a point at the last second in their matches against Fulham and Aston Villa, while Wolves rallied to draw 2-2 with Brighton after trailing by two goals as late as the 85th minute.

Maresca, who avoided a thrilling finish in his team’s 2-1 victory over Newcastle, implied that English fans are unaware of their good fortune.

The Italian claimed that it is the cause of the Premier League’s widespread popularity. Since you’re from England, you’re unaware of how the Premier League is perceived overseas.

The fact that the game never ends here is one of the causes. For example, in my nation, if you’ve been ahead 2-0 for the last five minutes, you may have five or six players who fall for 20 seconds or 30 minutes. It’s challenging to return.

“The culture is different in England. It’s most likely the cause of its beauty.

Chelsea’s victory on Sunday continued their strong start under Maresca and was their fifth in nine league games.

Although the head coach stated that getting the team back to Europe’s top competition was not one of the goals set by club owners, they are now in fifth place in the standings, one point outside of the Champions League spots.

“I was never told about the top four by the club,” he claimed. “They consistently stated that the goal is to create something significant over the next four or five years.

“We are undoubtedly striving daily to create something significant. Could the players be under pressure? I don’t think so because you can tell where you are at any given time if you play each game individually.

“May and June come to mind when you start thinking about the top four or top six. It’s too far for me.
