Harry Kane has message for Cristiano Ronaldo ahead of 100th England cap

As he gets about to become the next centurion to represent England, Harry Kane aspires to be like Cristiano Ronaldo.

In Tuesday’s Nations League match against Finland, the captain of the Three Lions might receive his 100th cap. He would join the elite group of 10 players to have scored a tonne of goals for the England men’s team internationally.

Kane would be adding his name to an impressive roster that already included shining names like David Beckham, Wayne Rooney, and Peter Shilton. Despite this, Kane is drawing inspiration from Cristiano Ronaldo, another celebrity.

During the most recent international break, the 39-year-old forward from Manchester United achieved a significant personal milestone when he scored his 900th goal for both club and country. Kane also wants to live that long.
Before the game on Tuesday, the England captain stated, “Physically and mentally, I feel in really good shape at a peak in my career.” “I am inspired to play for as long as possible when I see other players, like Ronaldo, who scored his 901st goal yesterday and is still competitive at 39 years old.

I like playing this game, cherish my time as an England player above all else, and I hope it never ends. For me right now, the most important thing is to keep getting better and being reliable at the club and national levels, and I will always do that.

“I’m hungry for more, but who knows how many caps or goals I can get.” I’m committed to continuing to push the envelope.

Although Kane, 31, wants to play as long as he can, Ronaldo has already given him a strong warning. The current Al-Nassr star has already disclosed the level of commitment it took for him to accomplish his goal.
After reaching his 900th goal, Ronaldo made the following statement: “Only myself and those close to me understand the daily struggles it takes to maintain good physical and mental health and reach goal 900. It’s a special turning point in my work, and I celebrated that accomplishment with a lot of passion.

“It has several meanings. It was the score I had been aiming for for a while, and I knew I would hit it as it would come effortlessly to me as long as I kept playing. I’ve already brought home two trophies for Portugal, which was my ultimate goal. “Whatever happens next is amazing.”

Soon after reaching 900 goals in his career, Ronaldo immediately added another goal in the closing moments of the match against Scotland in Lisbon. His next opportunity to improve his record will be on Friday when Al-Nassr plays Al-Ahli.
