Full Reason Why Kevin De Bruyne is absent for Manchester City against Arsenal in the Premier League

In Sunday afternoon’s Premier League match between Manchester City and Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium, Kevin De Bruyne is not present for the Citizens.

The 33-year-old was taken off the field at the halftime break on Wednesday night in the UEFA Champions League match against Inter Milan after it appeared that he had a groin injury during an effort on the Italian team’s goal.

Having substituted Phil Foden, the team’s attacking midfielder, for the club’s vice captain during the match, Pep Guardiola was unable to provide much information regarding the gravity of the problem following the match.

When questioned about whether De Bruyne has resumed training with his Manchester City teammates, Guardiola responded, “He feels today a little bit better, but not yet.” “Days off, training tomorrow (Saturday), and we’ll see.”

When asked if De Bruyne might play against Arsenal, Guardiola replied, “He could be.”

Kevin De Bruyne, however, has been left out of the Manchester City squad for the visit of their Premier League championship rivals, according to official team news from the Etihad Stadium ahead of the match against Arsenal.
