Manchester United has postponed their return until later in July to allow them to secure a move away from Old Trafford.
Manchester United has permitted five players to report for preseason later in order to complete transfers this summer.
Man United have signed Matheus Cunha after triggering the £62.5 million release clause in his Wolves contract.
They are still looking for further quality, with Ruben Amorim interested in signing Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo and an England international.
Amorim intends to offload players to balance the club’s books, with numerous players linked with a transfer away from Old Trafford this summer.
Marcus Rashford, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Aston Villa, and Alejandro Garnacho are among the players being considered for release.
Not to mention Jaden Sancho, Antony, and Tyrell Malacia.
According to journalist Nathan Salt, Rashford, Garnacho, Sancho, Antony, and Malacia have been advised that their pre-season return date is later in July, allowing them to try to seal their release from the club.
According to Chris Wheeler, if the five Manchester United players are unable to find new clubs, they will be invited back.
They will also have access to medical and rehabilitation facilities when away from the training ground.
Sancho, Anthony, and Malacia, like Rashford, spent last season on loan away from Manchester United.
Sancho joined Chelsea, who declined to acquire the winger on a permanent contract for £40 million.
He had five goals in 41 games, including a strike in Chelsea’s Conference League final against Real Betis.
Antony shined in Spain with Betis, scoring nine goals in 26 appearances.
The La Liga club wants to keep the Brazilian winger, but his pay remains an issue, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Malacia joined PSV Eindhoven on loan and played 12 games after arriving in February.
Garnacho, meanwhile, made 58 appearances in all competitions last season, scoring 11 goals. However, his future lay away from Old Trafford, with Arsenal, Aston Villa, and Chelsea said to be monitoring his situation.
