Due to Viktor Gyokeres’ outstanding play since moving to Portugal, a European powerhouse has begun negotiations with Sporting CP to purchase the Swedish striker.
After leaving Coventry in the summer of 2023, Gyokeres has amassed 63 goals in 66 games, making him one of Europe’s most feared strikers.
Prior to joining Sporting, the Swede was heavily favored to return to the Premier League after making a name for himself with Coventry. He had previously played for Swansea and Brighton.

Amorim reportedly questioned his management over his choice to quit mid-season considering the commitment he made over the summer, now that his departure to Manchester United has been confirmed.
It is now anticipated that Gyokores would depart the team in the summer, and a Champions League team has already inquired about a possible trade.
Deco is anxious to lure Gyokeres to Barcelona and is prepared to utilize Brazilian sensation Vitor Roque to reduce Sporting’s asking price, according to El Nacional via A BOLA.
According to the source, the Swedish international’s contract has a 100 million euro release clause, but the Nou Camp’s financial problems would make it impossible to pay such a cost.
Although Roque was predicted to be Brazil’s next major star, he has fallen short of expectations since leaving Athletico Paranaense for 60 million euros.
Deco thinks Gyokeres is the “ideal replacement” for Robert Lewandowski and thinks he can include Roque in the deal for as little as €40 million.
Roque has made nine appearances since being placed on loan to Real Betis during the summer, and he has already scored twice.
