A Premier League team has already signed the standout forward.
The Botafogo player has already committed to a Premier League team after scoring an unexpected game-winning goal against Paris Saint-Germain in the Club World Cup.
PSG, the Champions League winners from the previous season, defeated Atletico Madrid, another European powerhouse, handily to start their Club World Cup campaign.
However, Botafogo, a Brazilian team, defeated Luis Enrique’s team 1-0 in Friday’s match in Pasadena, California.
They start the season with back-to-back wins after defeating the Seattle Sounders 2-1, and Igor Jesus’s goal in the first half gave his team a historic triumph over PSG.
Jesus scored a goal as well as his club defeated the Seattle Sounders.
The 24-year-old forward has already finalized a move away from Botafogo, but he is rapidly establishing himself.
Before the 2025–2026 season begins, he is expected to sign with Nottingham Forest.
