Fans are all in agreement that one player ‘shouldn’t be on the pitch’ after disasterclass during Spain vs France

All of the fans agreed when they attacked ONE player after his disastrous performance against France.

After Portugal defeated Germany on Wednesday to secure their place in Sunday’s Nations League final, Spain and France faced off on Thursday.

Additionally, Spain, the winners of Euro 2024 last summer, convincingly defeated their opponents, winning 5–4 in Stuttgart.

Mikel Merino of Arsenal extended the lead after Nico Williams had started the score. The Barcelona teenager scored his team’s fifth goal in the second half after Lamine Yamal converted a penalty kick and Pedri added a fourth.

Rayan Cherki, a target for Manchester City, spectacularly cut the lead before Randal Kolo Muani scored France’s fourth goal and Spain defender Dani Vivian converted into his own net.

After losing to Luis de la Fuente’s squad at Euro 2024, Didier Deschamps’ team fell to Spain in the opening moments of the match, so France wasn’t at the races.

Naturally, a number of French players received criticism, particularly Clement Lenglet, who received a lot of flak for his performance.

When Yamal floated the ball into the area for Spain’s first goal and was unable to keep out Pedri, he was in a strange defensive position.

Online viewers weren’t impressed by his lackluster performance in the back.

“No way Deschamps prefers Lenglet over Yoro,” one X user commented.

Another person stated: “Lenglet in 2025 France high-key deserve to lose.”

Another replied, “Any manager who has Lenglet and Rabiot in their starting XI in big old 2025 deserves to lose.”

A fourth person said: “It makes me sick. Leny Yoro is relaxing at home as LENGLET departs for France.

After Wesley Fofana, Dayot Upamecano, and William Saliba suffered injuries, Lenglet—who had previously played for Tottenham and Aston Villa—returned to the national team.

He remarked on his call-up: “I was driving with some buddies when I got a congrats message. I found out about it in that way. However, I had to verify online that it wasn’t a joke.

After spending the previous season on loan at Atletico Madrid, the 29-year-old center-back is still under contract with Barcelona.

He has a contract that expires in June 2026, and Barca hopes to let him go. Atleti wants to sign him to a long-term contract before he competes in this month’s Club World Cup.
