Summary
Margot Robbie, Idris Elba, and Triple H are all admirers of Premier League teams.
Many celebrities are avid football fans, despite not attending many games.
This requirement states that celebrity supporters must attend games and actively support their team in order to be called actual fans.
Football is the world’s most popular sport. It is adored by hundreds of people in every small town and city, from the impoverished streets of South America to the opulent district of Monaco in southern Europe. That is what distinguishes ‘the beautiful game’.
Every Premier League team has a notable fan. You may not realize it, but they frequently express their emotions and colors. They could be in the hospitality suite, pitchside for an interview, or among the supporters in the stands, but there’s a good chance they’ll be present.
The Premier League is well-known in all countries. As the most competitive and powerful league, it attracts a large audience. Unsurprisingly, this has resulted in every club gaining a fanbase outside of the United Kingdom, including celebrities. They all have unique stories, yet they all have ties to their respective clubs.
How the most famous fan was determined.
To be considered a club fan, people must attend games or demonstrate their enthusiasm on a consistent basis. Celebrities are busier than the average football fan, but they must exhibit their ‘colours’ to be considered a fan. We did not include A-list actors who presented a shirt once, most likely as a publicity ploy. Some supporters attend more matches than others, hence the frequency of ‘attending’ on this list fluctuates. With that established, here are the most well-known fans from each Premier League club.
Arsenal’s Idris Elba

Piers Morgan would most likely claim the title of ‘greatest Arsenal fan’, but we believe Elba would disagree. The Luther star has previously appeared in Gunners kit launches and contributed to the ‘No More Red’ campaign. Elba has previously quipped that if he had followed a professional football career, he may have played for Arsenal.
He is widely regarded as one of the best – and most well-known – performers in the United Kingdom, capable of captivating spectators with his relentless drama and charisma on film. He even stated that he would be “physically sick” if Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal’s primary rivals, ever won the Premier League.
Aston Villa-Prince William

Prince William is one of the most well-known people in the world. As the heir to King Charles, he will eventually become King of the country, yet despite his celebrity and royal family status, he is a great football lover. Unlike other celebrities, he was spotted excitedly applauding England’s goals at the 2020 European Championship, which was mostly held in England, while also supporting Aston Villa.
He stated that his decision to support Villa was motivated by a desire to stand out from his friends as well as the club’s rich history. He has been seen at Villa Park multiple times, surpassing Tom Hanks as the most famous supporter.
Bournemouth’s Michael B. Jordan
Bournemouth is one of the smallest clubs in the country, so selecting their’most famous fan’ was a little difficult. They’re a feel-good story, rising from the depths of the EFL to the Premier League. We did, however, choose Michael B. Jordan for this.
In 2023, the Hollywood star became a part-owner of the club, allowing him to provide partial support. When his investment was announced, he commented on the Graham Norton Show, “It’s insane and amazing.” One reason I wanted to invest was because there was so much potential. I’m very excited about that venture. “The team is amazing.” He clearly enjoys the club, despite the fact that he was not raised with it.
Brentford – Natalie Sawyer

Natalie Sawyer, an ex-Sky Sports broadcaster, has been following Brentford for years, even before they reached the Premier League. Her affection for the club has previously been discussed, and in 2012, she was featured in an advertising campaign in which her image was placed on a bus to increase ticket pricing.
She has been working for The Times since 2018, but her passion for Brentford has not wavered. The dazzling glare of Cameron Diaz’s stardom temporarily flashed over Brentford, with various sources reporting that the actor supported the Bees. In a dramatic anticlimax suiting her filmography, Diaz confessed: “It’s not that I don’t like the Bees. I just didn’t realize they existed.”
Brighton – Fat Boy Slim

Brighton has a long history in the music industry, and Fatboy Slim is one of its most well-known exports. The world-renowned DJ has even performed at the club’s Amex Stadium in the past. During Brighton’s debut European season in 2023, he performed at a bar after the match, hours after cheering on the team from the stands.
Simon Cowell appears to be a Seagull as well, though he admits that he is not entirely committed to the club. It doesn’t compare to Fatboy Slim, who has followed the south coast side on their fantastic adventure.
Burnley – Jordan North
‘Happy, happy place, Turf Moor.’ Nobody expected these words to be spoken on national television, never alone during the year’s biggest show. However, when radio host Jordan North appeared on ‘I’m a Celebrity In ‘Get Me Out of Here,’ he made it clear to the world how much he loved the Clarets.
There could be an argument that J.J. Watt should be here because he now owns the team and is undoubtedly a bigger name. However, when it comes to legendary Burnley supporters, North is difficult to beat.
Chelsea – Gordon Ramsay

Gordon Ramsay was once a reasonably excellent football player, having played for the Rangers academy as a teenager. However, he supports Chelsea, and the chef is frequently seen wearing the Blues’ colours at Stamford Bridge. The foul-mouthed TV personality is one of the industry’s most famous figures, noted for his violent rants and distinct cooking style.
He has followed Chelsea’s European escapades, particularly their Champions League victories in 2012 and 2021. Aside from Ramsay, Natalie Dormer, Mark Ronson, Ellie Goulding, and Cara Delevigne are rumored Chelsea fans.
Crystal Palace – Liam Neeson

Liam Neeson is one of the world’s most famous performers. The weathered leading man has taken the spotlight in action epics, nail-biting thrillers, and romantic comedies. However, his love of football is rarely chronicled, despite the fact that he loves Crystal Palace.
Former Palace chairman Simon Jordan once said that Neeson called him and asked for tickets to Selhurst Park. Bill Nighy, Neeson’s Love Actually co-star, is also a patron of the Crystal Palace FC Fast Results & Information Service Disabled Children’s Club. The Eagles are also followed by Eddie Izzard and Susanna Reid, demonstrating that despite their mid-table position, they continue to draw big names.
Everton’s Tony Bellew

Tony Bellew’s love for Everton has been widely documented, especially on ITV’s 2023 ‘I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here’. He was ecstatic when he learned Everton had defeated Newcastle United 3-0 in the jungle. The former boxer fought Ilunga Makabu at Goodison Park in 2016, and he now attends matches on a regular basis after his retirement.
Judi Dench, like Bellew, is an avid Everton fan and a patron of the club’s official charity, Everton in the Community. Aside from those two, Nicola Roberts, Amanda Holden, and John McEnroe are known to support the club as well.
Fulham – Margot Robbie

Margot Robbie, like numerous other names on this list, is one of the most well-known actors in the world. She has appeared in films such as ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’ and ‘Barbie’, which will be released in 2023. Despite her celebrity and wealth, it turns out she supports Fulham, one of the league’s mid-table teams. The Australian superstar has even been photographed at Craven Cottage.
Robbie’s fondness for the Cottagers stems from her film producer husband, Tom Ackerley, who is an avid fan of the team. Ackerley is from Surrey and met Robbie in 2013 on the set of Suite Francaise. Hugh Grant is another well-known Fulham fan, but he does not have the same profile as Robbie.’
Leeds United – Russell Crowe

Russell Crowe is well-known as a sports personality, having attended numerous rugby and tennis games throughout the years. But the Oscar winner is also a great Leeds United fan, having apparently fell in love with the club while watching Match of the Day.
Not only that, but it was confirmed in 2024 that the Gladiator star had a financial tie to the club, having a minority share years after pursuing a full acquisition of the team ahead to their first Premier League return. Crowe is old enough to have great recollections of Leeds being at the top of English football, so he may still be hoping to see them return.
Liverpool – LeBron James

LeBron James is among the greatest basketball players of all time. When you think about the NBA, you think of LeBron James. Despite Liverpool’s assistance from Samuel L. Jackson, Angelina Jolie, and Daniel Craig, none of them were able to beat James. The basketball legend owns a one percent ownership in the team.
Liverpool has also created its own line of shirts in cooperation with the Los Angeles Lakers player. When Jurgen Klopp revealed his decision to depart the club at the end of the 2023/24 season, James paid him respect in a statement on social media. His devotion to the team is evident, and he has also remarked on subsequent league title successes and tragedies like as Diogo Jota’s death and the parade tragedy, which injured several fans.
Manchester City – Noel and Liam Gallagher
