Every FC Barcelona Player’s Wage [2025]

Barcelona has made progress and is now playing at the same level of domination and form that they have typically displayed throughout the years under Hansi Flick. Over the years, they have promoted several extremely gifted young players, but they have also overpaid for some of the biggest names in sports.

They have a good balance of both parties under Flick. The academy produced players like Lamine Yamal and Gavi, and they also attracted established superstars like Robert Lewandowski to Camp Nou. Here’s how much each senior squad member takes him each week since winning La Liga again.

Goalkeepers

Marc-Andre ter Stegen earns far more than any other goalkeeper

It should come as no surprise that Marc-Andre ter Stegen is currently making almost €120,000 per week, significantly more than any other goalie in the team. He is one of the greatest keepers in the world and, when healthy, will undoubtedly be the man trusted to stand between the sticks.

Additionally, Barca has two strong choices in Wojciech Szczesny and Inaki Pena. At little over €60,000 a week, the former is the second-highest paid goalie at Camp Nou, but the latter is not far behind at €57,692. The former Arsenal player is making a good weekly salary after coming out of retirement to join Barcelona. Ander Astralaga, the team’s last goalie, is a 21-year-old Spaniard who is quite low in the hierarchy, as seen by his €3,846 weekly salary.

Protectors
Five defenders make more than €100,000 every week.

When it comes to defense, Jules Kounde is the one individual who earns a lot more than everyone else. He became one of the most expensive center backs in history after joining from Sevilla in 2022. This season, he has been a constant for Barcelona and is getting paid more than €250,000 a week for his efforts.

Ronaldo Araujo signed a new deal in January 2025, making him Camp Nou’s second-highest paid defender. He has been rewarded for his performance with a new pay of €240,385 per week. Third place goes to Inigo Martinez, who earns €174,321 each week. In March, he received a new contract in recognition of his contributions to the team.

Andreas Christensen, the team’s third-highest paid defender with a weekly pay of €173,077, is not in the same boat. Due to injury, the former Chelsea player missed the great bulk of the season. Additionally, Eric Garcia makes around €100,000 per week.

Pau Cubarsi has inked a new contract at €76,923 per week. Hector Fort and Gerard Martin are Camp Nou’s lowest-paid defenders, while Aleandro Balde earns just over €30,000 a week. Nevertheless, they continue to earn a respectable sum each week, earning €16,154 and €8,077, respectively.

Midfielders
Frenkie de Jong earns over €350,000-a-week

Since he joined Barcelona in 2019, Frenkie de Jong has faced his share of detractors. Given that he receives €365,385 per week, it’s simple to understand why. He has more than €100,000 than second-place finisher Pedri (€240,385). The final midfield player in the squad with over €100,000 is Gavi (€180,385).

The midfield group is completed by three players that came via the Barcelona academy. Each of Fermin Lopez, Marc Casado, and Pablo Torre signed a new deal in 2024 to remain with the squad for the foreseeable future after rising through the ranks at Camp Nou. Each of the three is making €76,923, €10,000, and €6,154 every week.

The Forwards
The highest-paid player for the team is Robert Lewandowski.

Barcelona has become one of the world’s most exciting attacking teams under Flick, and they have access to a very good group of forwards. Like a good wine, Robert Lewandowski is maturing. He is still scoring goals frequently at the age of 36, and even though his €640,962 weekly pay is still a bit ridiculous, at least he is contributing on the field.

Since Lionel Messi, Lamine Yamal has emerged as one of Barcelona’s greatest success stories. Despite just being 17, the youthful superstar is among the favorites to win the 2025 Ballon d’Or. A new six-year deal paying a cool €307,692 per week was recently awarded to him as a reward. After an amazing season, Raphinha, his co-conspirator, was also rewaded with a new contract. Each week, the Brazilian receives €280,385.

At one point, Ansu Fati was Camp Nou’s most promising young player, but things haven’t exactly gone as planned. Even yet, his weekly salary of €268,269 is a substantial sum for a player who struggles for playing time.

The final forwards in the team, Ferran Torres and Dani Olmo, earn six figures every seven days, or around €192,308 and €240,385 each week, respectively. The team is completed by Pablo Torre and Pau Victor, who make €4,038 and €7,308 per week, respectively.
