Erling Haaland to Saudi Arabia?! Man City star tipped to make sensational switch to the Middle East in the future – but Premier League title winner made mention why he would reject £200m contract now

Some people think Erling Haaland will move to Saudi Arabia at some point, but a Premier League champion says he will turn down a £200 million offer for now.

Norwegian moved to Manchester in the year 2022.
Has scored 100 goals for City
There is a lot of talk about his future.

Since coming from Borussia Dortmund to the Etihad Stadium in 2022, Norwegian forward Haaland has been a big surprise for City. In his first season, he helped Manchester United win the famous Treble, and he has won the Golden Boot in both of his seasons there.

Within just 105 games for City, Haaland has scored 100 goals, making him one of the most sought-after skills in football. People like Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema already work in the Middle East, so it wouldn’t be a surprise if they were interested.

“Why a switch to the Saudi Pro League won’t happen any time soon,” Emmanuel Petit told TV Kampen. Petit used to play for Arsenal and Chelsea. The French player who won the World Cup said, “I think one day we could end up seeing Erling Haaland in Saudi Arabia, depending on how they develop.” However, Haaland will have to do it all at the club level because he can’t make history with his country. He will focus on that for a very long time.

“If he thinks about going to Saudi, it won’t be because of the money.” I believe that his goal goes beyond money, since he is making good money at City. His goal is to set new records every game, and he wouldn’t go to Saudi Arabia even if they offered £200 million ($267 million). The only time I can see him going is near the end of his career.

“Haaland is already working on a good deal in Manchester, and there are rumors that the terms could be pushed back.” While City waits to hear if they will be punished in a long-running, 115-charge Financial Fair Play (FFP) case, he seems content in England for now. Real Madrid and Barcelona have been linked with him.
