Erik ten Hag ‘offered’ stunning return to management four months after being sacked by Man Utd

Only four months after leaving Manchester United, Erik ten Hag may be given the opportunity to take the dugout again.

After yet another poor season debut, United decided to cut ties with Ten Hag back in October.

Following the Red Devils’ 2-1 loss to West Ham United at the London Stadium, the announcement was made.

Since then, United has brought on Ruben Amorim, who has struggled at Old Trafford.
Since being fired by United, Ten Hag has been linked to teams like Ajax and Borussia Dortmund.

Ten Hag may now receive a job offer from another club, according to rumours.

According to The Sun, Feyenoord, a Dutch team, fired Brian Priske on Monday and now wants Ten Hag to take over as manager.

When Arne Slot left Feyenoord for Liverpool in the summer, Priske was given the responsibility of carrying on his legacy.

But after a string of poor performances left them 12 points behind rivals Ajax in the Eredivisie, the Danish coach’s time there is now over.

There have also been rumours that Rene Hake, Ten Hag’s assistant at United, is being considered as a No. 2 at Feyenoord.

Ten Hag won the FA Cup and the Carabao Cup while he was United’s manager, but the Dutchman’s poor performance in the Premier League and Champions League cost him dearly.

Pascal Bosschaart, Feyenoord’s Under-21 coach, is currently serving as a caretaker.

Dennis te Kloese, the club’s director, stated: “We are happy that Pascal has expressed his willingness to fill in temporarily.

“I have spoken to many players and staff, and everyone realises that we still have a great deal to compete for.”

Ten Hag had led Ajax, Utrecht, and Go Ahead Eagles in Dutch football before taking over as manager of United.
